Growl at the Moon returns to the South Carolina State Museum with health and safety measures in place. This popular adult Halloween event invites guests to wear their most creative costumes and spend an evening at the museum featuring special shows, including the planetarium laser experience Dark Side of the Moon, featuring the music of Pink Floyd, and a thrilling compilation of iconic scary movie trailers.
Guests can also enjoy live music from Cletus Baltimore outside on the planetarium's terrace and food for purchase from local food trucks, Hot Mess and Bodega Kitchen. A cash bar will be available featuring a specialty cocktail, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
The museum is managing event and theater capacity to facilitate social distancing. Per Gov. McMaster’s executive order, guests are required to wear a face covering.
Growl at the Moon tickets are $15 for the general public and $12 for museum members. Capacity is limited and advance online ticket purchase is required at
